PBLO Bat Velo Competition Rankings

Leading up to the season, players are ramping up to perform at their very best.  Teams regularly hold testing days to make sure that they are, indeed, trending in the right direction.  One of the most popular tests is the bet velocity test, which is simply how hard can you hit the baseball from a tee; hitting from a standstill where you generate all of the force.  Several teams submitted their testing results to see which teams had the hardest hitters in the preseason.  The top two or three hitters from each team is averaged to make up the team's score.  Among multiple age divisions, here are the rankings:

14U DIVISION

2nd Place: 14U Sudbury Voyageurs

Gabe Larocque: 73.7 MPH
Devan Madore: 75.8 MPH

AVG: 74.75 MPH


1st Place: 14U London Badgers

Austin Neilson: 74 MPH
Lucas Bailey: 76 MPH
Logan Melo: 79 MPH

AVG: 76.3 MPH


16U DIVISION

2nd Place
: 15U London Badgers

Aidan Doyle: 81 MPH
James Mockler: 83 MPH
Jacob Belecky: 86 MPH

AVG: 83.3 MPH


1st Place: 16U Sudbury Voyageurs

Cole McPhee: 84.1 MPH
Cameron Bauer: 88.5 MPH

AVG: 86.3 MPH


18U DIVISION

3rd Place
: 18U Sudbury Voyageurs

Matt Obradovich: 85.7 MPH
Yanick Loiselle: 87.9 MPH

AVG: 86.8 MPH


2nd Place: 18U Oshawa Legionnaires

Drew Tibbits: 90 MPH
AJ Rowe: 92 MPH
Ryan Howard: 95 MPH

AVG: 92.3 MPH


And the overall champion is...

1st Place: 18U London Badgers

Noah Williams: 99 MPH
Andrew Savage: 101 MPH
Carson Lumley: 101 MPH

AVG: 100.3 MPH
