The Premier Baseball League of Ontario, the first and oldest premier baseball league in Ontario, is pleased to announce its executive and board of governors have unanimously approved five new organizations to begin play in the 2021 season. The PBLO is also honoured to announce that all its member teams will compete for the first John Jepson Memorial Championship Trophies at all age groups, beginning with the 2021 season. “The PBLO Executive has worked very hard to keep our Premier League viable over many years, said PBLO Commissioner Linda Lewis. ”We have weathered many challenges over the years and our new additions will make our league even stronger and better. London Badgers:

Badgers 18U won big over Waterloo Warriors 15-2 on Wednesday. Badgers fired up the offense in the first inning scoring 6-runs. 18U's scored two runs when Brendan Mahood singled. Carson Lumley led the London Badgers 18U to victory on the mound. He lasted three innings, allowing zero hits and zero runs while striking out eight and walking one. Jacob Haak and Alex Foshay entered the game out of the bullpen and helped to close out the game in relief while #55 took the loss for Waterloo Warriors going one inning, allowing six runs on four hits and walking one. SELECTION PROCESS
Try outs are for players currently in Grade 11 or younger. Usually, the Junior team is made up mostly of Grade 11 players and the Sophomore team is mostly Grade 10 players with a couple of exceptional Grade 9’s. There will be two initial try-outs (March 7 in London, ON and March 28 in Brampton, ON), of which a player need only attend 1. There will be a final selection camp on April 4th in Oshawa, On for the try-out participants who are called back from the inital try- outs. Read More
