LEGIONAIRES ROWE COMMITS TO SENECA COLLEGE STING!
Submitted By Harry Weisdorf on Wednesday, March 10, 2021
The Oshawa Legionaires 18U Elite are excited to announce that 1B/DH A.J. Rowe has made the decision to further his academics and baseball career on scholarship at Seneca College.

In his announcement, Rowe stated, "I want to thank my teammates and coaches for being there for me throughout the years. Also a big thanks to my mom, who never questioned bringing me to a game or practice at any hour of the day, as well as my dad who’s been my biggest fan and my personal coach since I was little."

With Rowe's favourite player being Joey Votto of the Cincinnati Reds, he hopes to replicate some of that Canadian dominance as he goes forward in his baseball development.  He doesn't just do it for the chance of stardom though.  Rowe stated, "I play baseball for my love of the game.  It's a game that I've played since I was very young and it's hard to imagine my life without it."  At the 2020 Oshawa Scout Day, Rowe topped the list for exit velocity at 91 MPH for all age groups.
