2024 PBLO First-Team & Second-Team All-Stars have been announced. Congratulations to all players selected and for a wonderful 2024 season!

Message from the OBA: The Rep Operational Committee has identified some inconsistencies and vague language in the new High Performance rules.  In an effort to create clarity and consistency, the following decision is in place for try-outs beginning this summer.  We will address this for subsequent years with proposed rule changes in November.

The OBA Youth Team try-outs registration is now open.  The try-outs are open to all players born 2007 and younger (15U, 16U and 17U).  There is an initial ID camp on the weekend of April 19 and April 26.  Players can choose which ID camp they attend as they register for the ID camp.After the ID camps, we then select the top 50-60 players to attend a final Selection Camp the long weekend in May.

Over the weekend, Baseball Ontario held its annual Best Ever Coaches Clinic (BEC). At this event, coaches are invited to learn about coaching techniques, season scheduling and so much more.  One of the presenters was our very own J.G. Larocque, Vice President of the PBLO and Coach for the Sudbury Voyageurs. 

As the players began rolling into the legendary Labatt Park in London, Ontario, the vibes were already set for this to be a special day.  The 25-degree sunny weather cemented the fact that this wasn’t an ordinary set of games but would be featuring some of the best young talents that Ontario baseball has to offer in the 2nd Annual PBLO All-Star Showcase Games.
